Issue #33 | October 7, 2026
TL;DR
- GPT-6.1 Sol drops to $2/M input: 76% cheaper per coding task than Astra, 3 points behind it on DeepSWE. Already live in Copilot, Codex, and the API. The economics of running agent pipelines at scale just shifted.
- OpenAI Dots launches as a persistent agent platform: 4,000+ app integrations, powered by GPT-6 Astra, rolling out to Pro, Business Premium, and Enterprise plans in eligible markets. Each user gets a cloud computer. An agent that works while you sleep.
- Tool of the Week, AWS Well-Architected Agent: Replaces Trusted Advisor's static checklist with a continuous AI loop that ingests live infra and IaC templates, then outputs prioritized remediation ranked by your stated business goals. Available to AWS customers with an AWS Support plan, in preview.
